Carpe diem

I’ve added cross stitched text to my first block for Karen’s class. It was time consuming, but worth the effort.
It’s the Dutch translation of Carpe diem. The edge of this part of my block is a feather stitch with French knots. I wrote about what inspired me to stitch this here.
This is the bottom right corner of this part. Lots of French knots traveling from one part to the other to connect them.

  1. I'm having so much trouble with the cross stitching. Really hard on my eyes, but when I see how beautiful yours look, I want to try again!
